In 2004 I bought an 88 Regal from a woman in Kansas City, MO.  Her insurance company had reimbursed her toward repairs and she chose to get a new car - I got the Buick for $300!  It was totaled on the passenger side, but I drove it all the way to Grayson KY. where Steve Abbott worked with me to redeem the ride.  3 months, a new pass door and maybe $150 later - I had a sweet ride that I drove for 2 years before selling to my younger brother for $700.  Loved that car.
